Hold a rattle just within reach and shake it gently. Encourage baby to grab it. Swap hands to practice both sides. Builds grasp reflex and hand-eye coordination.
Materials: Rattle or shaker toy
Place baby on a blanket and gently roll them side to side. This playful motion builds core strength and helps with the rolling milestone.
Materials: Soft blanket
Cover your face with a cloth, then reveal yourself with a big 'peekaboo!' Baby is learning object permanence — that things still exist when hidden. Pure joy, every time.
Materials: Light cloth or small blanket
Take a slow walk outdoors. Pause to point out trees, birds, and clouds. Fresh air and changing scenery are wonderfully stimulating for developing brains.
Materials: Stroller
Always adapt activities to your child's age and developmental stage. Supervise all play. Check that materials and toys are age-appropriate and free of choking hazards.
